Axiovert200M microscope equipped for live cell microscopy by means of epifluorescence and light microscopy. An X-Cite illuminant and a laser array scanning module are installed, allowing optional confocal imaging. Emitted light can be recorded with a CoolSnapfx CCD or a Cascade II EM-CCD camera. The microscope, the cameras and lasers as well as the X-Cite illuminant are controlled by means of a PC using MetaMorph and VisiTools.
